          Entropy applies to closed systems only. If the Universe is infinite in age and extent, entropy doesnt apply. Besides, its a mathematical construct, not something that really exists.
          As far as the expanding universe model, that thing changes by the day. Who knows what form it will have tomorrow. Its foundations are flawed anyways because redshift is intrinsic, not recessional.

          the universe contracts infinitely in one direction of spacetime and expands infinnitely in the other direction of spacetime. The big bang is just the earliest event we can measure. It does not in any way prove cyclic cosmology "wrong" you're just a dunning-kruger armchair physicist on IQfy

            >The big bang is just the earliest event we can measure
            More like it's the earliest event where time even makes sense in our current understanding. What we need is evidence not capeshit tier science fiction. There is no reason to suspect there was ever a "before" for it. As Hawkings said, it's like asking what is south of the South Pole.

            It's rather hard to obtain evidence from an unique event that happened billions of years ago, especially if confined into a single planet.

            It's a hypothesis, not a baseless assertion like Genesis is. All scientists will admit that in the end they don't know and can just propose theories.

            It is highly likely that it will be impossible to get that evidence forever. Until then, the cyclic model remains a completely made up model and it doesn't really have explanatory power.

            The Big Bang Theory actually was hated and despised by fedora-atheists of the day because back then those atheists believed that the Universe always existed and by stating it had a "creation point" means that there had to be a Creator or some kind of external force (God, basically) that created it.

        Prairie dogs are not the ancestors of tyrannosaurs,

    The Chinese myth is interesting. There was this personified cosmic force named Pangu who was growing in an egg for 18k years. Somehow he got an axe with which he separated yin and yang, then he started growing to push them apart and keep them separate. Then he died and became the universe.

    it was created by volcanic vents creating particles, bubbles and cavities with various levels of carbon, oxygen, phosphorous etc.
    at some point there emerged a domino-effect where a bubble was able to continue a chemical reaction within itself to the point where it happed all over the place.
    eventually the bubbles also developed the ability to split into two bubblereactions when growing without popping either of them.
    tldr;
    the origin of life is rusty bubbles.
