Both phenotype and genetics matter. Someone who is northen European will never look like an Arab. However, they may have brown eyes but still be pale. Brown eyes and hair can be random, but you’re not randomly going to produce an Indian colored baby with two English parents.

That’s a good point actually. I mean, we know that hispanics generally form a underclass in the United States and are stuck doing all the shit jobs. So that probably has a lot to do with it. Italian-Americans on the other hand have had a long time to integrate and mix with White Americans to the point where there really isn’t a difference between Italian-Americans and standard White Americans, outside of New Jersey or something.
