For what it's worth I've had Cloudflare checks broken in Firefox too.

Cloudflare's captcha is probably the most aggressive I've ever seen.

Google, for all its faults at least doesn't block any browsers from completing captchas as far as I can tell.

I haven't been blocked using Chorme beta, but the checks were almost constant a few months ago. Cloudfare flexing and trying to make bank.
I wonder if Pale Moon forks / spinoffs are also effected now.

My Cloudflare captchas regularly break on certain websites on Firefox, Linux. I hate it, but it's mostly websites I didn't really need to be on anyways.

        Linux for me too.
It's like they have some stupid code that automatically assumes "Linux == Server" and turns the checks up to 11.

It's fine for me now but it was unusable at one point.

Linux has like what 1% desktop market share? Literally no one cares about them and hence just automatically assume server instead of putting effort in filtering out the couple desktop users

it's up to like 4% now, but even if it wasn't this would still be an embarrassing as frick mistake

It doesn't block them, but other browsers definitely get more difficult challenges

Back when this site used recaptcha, I always got several (3-10) pages of slow-fading images until I could post and after about 10 posts Google would block me for a day while using Pale Moon. Not any better than this cloudflare crap.

I remember this got way better the older your cookies got and was the WORST, throwing you through all sorts of frickery whenever you cleaned them out and started out fresh. Also, being logged into your G account also helped (of course) as did using their browser (how surprising)

      Same.
I had a suspicion, looked at my cookies and sure enough, they expired on 24th.
Up until today I never had that issue and neither that "you must wait until posting" shit others talked about. I guess with the old cookie out I'll finally get to enjoy this bullshit (on a different browser)

Every politician in every western country deserves to be tried and executed for treason.
Then the new goverments should curbstomp big tech companies and mono- and duopolies into fine red paste.

Finally after belittling people for not liking cloudflare it's biting him in the ass. Hah. That being said, it's bad that cloudflare would block people based on a browser. That's a stupid way of going about it, you should be able to view sites without having to enable javascript.

      >you should be able to view sites without having to enable javascript.
for all google's faults, at least they have a no-js captcha (last i checked)

Yeah but a lot of smaller sites just use cloudflare even if their site itself doesn't require javascript because they get convinced its safe and fast. It's just easy.
