Can't newbie distros add aliases or something that prevent these destructive commands?

newhomosexual distros tell you to use sudo and sudo requires typing in password so if you have to type in your password it should tell you that you need to use your brain but apparently you still cannot

There's a sucker born every minute, bro.
People just follow the instructions hoping it fixes their problems and they don't look into what exactly they're doing. They just follow the list provided to them by the kindly IQfy anon who'd have no ill intent towards them, right? And since Linux is not the main desktop that everyone uses and is accostumed to, those people don't have the common knowledge of "don't delete system32"

What I'm more interested in knowing is if the more beginner-facing distros have guardrails against this sort of thing. Would rm -rf work on SteamOS? Or maybe Valve foresaw the dumbshits and aliased the command into a warning or something like that.
