Hitboxes, dolphin diving and Commander sound spam ruined this game for me. Especially the commander spam, it wasn't a norm until the game reached like year 2007, then people did it nonstop. I even edited files so that the voices were turned extra low, but the voice lines were bound together with your OWN GUN SOUNDS. fricking dice.
