Who on IQfy has the most impressive personal library?
I'm not looking for size, but for quality.
Needs to be at least one shelf full for me to consider it a library.

I have 5682 books on my kindle
You guys are homosexuals... why did I even make this thread.
I have better taste than you. Keep crying.
Not at home, anon. Will be late this evening and will post some pics. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm the 2k guy..
You started with a picture of a room with bookshelves containing nothing but vinyls. The only book in the room is on the coffee table, functioning as a support for some ikea figurine of circlejerking Black folk. Where did you expect the thread to go?
I only have around 500 books (mostly classic literature, history and philosophy).
Maybe if I get to live in a more spacious place and not in a tiny apartment I can certainly amass a huge library, seeing that I don't have a wife or children and will have the money to spend.
Post pic of said library (we demand it)
And interrupt the flow of my WS tourney? NCD
Hardly a library, it's just two Ikea bookshelves like pic related filled to the brim with books.
Have 2k, incessantly shoveling in and out
First prove you are worthy to judge someone else's shelves.
A shelf is a very arbitrary thing, I have one shelf that could only hold about a dozen books, does that make it a library if I fill it with books?
Hmmm I'm inclined to argue with you over the definition of something so simple like a library, yet instead of derailing I'll call you a homosexual, on par with those who argue chairs or chairness do not exist.
>definition of something so simple like a library
Then define it, if I fill picrel with books is it a library?
>on par with those who argue chairs or chairness do not exist.
Strawman.
I have around 1,500 physical books
2250 books here.

Enjoy a list of my library and decide if the quality suffices.
>Abbott, Edwin A. - Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions (1992, Dover Publications)
First entry, already based.
It's a fun book. I've already read it twice.
Have you read Schmidt's Goldedge?
You mean Evening Edged in Gold?
I've started reading it, enjoyed it a lot - and then stopped reading it.
At the moment I'm on a journey to read the entire Schmidt chronologically, plus a lot of the books he mentions all the time. I'm enjoying this journey a lot and I'm treating it as a marathon and not as a sprint.
Richgay?
I wish.
He is clearly German, moron, where the books are readily accessible and cheap
Meh
I'm looking to buy the entire loeb classical library from Harvard. Can't find an entire volume set, anyone know where I can buy every volume instead of individual volumes?
From a collector for mondo bigbucks
You just know some anon has a 40 book library with an excellent selection and isn't posting their collection for us to rate it.
That wouldn't happen to be you anon, would it?
You talkin' to me?
no, i have more like 200-300 if i had to guess. maybe 40 gems.
I have fewer than 40 physical books, I only keep the ones that are important to me. I've recently started upgrading some of those to archival leather bound printings where possible.
Those are LPs
