PROOF PI IS RATIONAL

It is well known that pi has an infinite amount of digits so therefore every possible sequence of digits exists in the digits of pi. Therefore the sequence "xxxx..." infinite times exists in pi which means pi is some digits then x repeating. X could be 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, whichever infinite sequence of the same digit comes first. This also means that there is a last digit of pi. As a programmer I don't usually mess around with mathematical concepts but you guys can't seem to make up your minds on whether or not pi is irrational so I thought I'd give my two cents. Also, if discovering this wins me one of your dumb prizes I don't care, you guys can claim it for yourself, trust me, I don't need the money.

    Just because a number is irrational doesn't mean it contains every possible finite sequence of digits. Consider for example the irrational number 0.01001000100001000001...

    Fallacious reasoning. The decimal form of one third has an infinite number of digits, yet all of them are 3 and you obviously cannot find every possible sequence of digits in it.

            There's mathematical evidence that our mathematical models don't work at that scale because we're unable to quantify the properties of reality, ergo you have the opposite of evidence, all you've proven is that you have no data about these scales and you aren't able to know anything what's happening on that level, because math is just representing states of a system as numbers, but since you are unable to observe the system at that scale you can't assign any numbers to it

            you seem to be, for missing the "rather than as is now known". his math has been fricking proven, it's not a trick. we don't have proof that spacetime is quantized, but we have mathematical evidence, from same math which has been proven with other stuff.

    Pi has not been proven to be normal. And that only deals with finite sequences anyway.

    Even if pi were normal, if X in your example is 0, that means an infinite sequence of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 does not exist, contradicting your premise that every (or any) infinite sequence exists.

      There is no such thing as an "infinity of x" since infinity is the uppermost upper limit rather than a specific number, so x tends toward infinity but can never be infinity.
