I'll be honest with you the fastest way to get into the field is to rent yourself out to some troon.
The less they pass the more they will spoil you and get you into the industry.
If you're willing to study, I'm willing to teach. I've studied CS and been working for 3 years now.
Learning a programming language is easy. Understanding it requires some learning some mathematics, basic computer architecture and operating systems theory.
