>reading House of Leaves digitally
When you start reading the physical version.
Why is it so hard to find a copy of this book? Should I get the paperback edition or try to find a second hand hardback?
Please don't diverge from the topic in my own thread. Thank you!
I bumped your shitty thread. Now answer me and then kindly have a nice day post-haste.
IDK about allat brotha im just reading from the amazon kindle
It's in Barnes and Noble and on Amazon, what the frick are you talking about?
Johnny Truant's story is overhated in my opinion! The Navidson Record starts to shit the bed after the House swallows Tom and Will & his wife separate and when the author starts namedropping Stephen King and Anne Rice; whereas Truant's story only gets better and becomes a serious mindfrick at the end.
American detected.
You got me anon, I'm living in the greatest country on planet earth and buying any book that I want. In a thread about an American book on an American website, no less.
>the greatest country on planet earth
That would happen to be Canada.
Alright, I'll give you the real pro tips: The book is made up of several layers of narrative. The main narrative is focused on the Navidson Proejct, with sections of accompanying straight-faced academic meta-discussion satire - this is the bread and butter you should read.
A second and third layer of narrative is made up of the old man with an italian sounding name who annotated the book within the book, and Johnny Truant who pick up this annotated book and annotates it further, coupled with some drug-and-sex edgelord storyline - these are two completely superfluous lines of cringe narrative that only serve to detract from the story, don't even bother skimming, skip it outright. Last 150 pages of the book is empty filler, skip it.
I'd say if you don't find it enjoyable at the end of the first labyrinth exploration, then don't bother reading any more.
>t. dumbass
Obvious bait is obvious.
The DOOM WAD of it was great
furry
When he starts measuring the house
Just skim the Johnny chapters
when you close this overrated self indulgent piece of shit and go watch kane pixels backrooms videos instead
The DOOM WAD of it was great
The novelization of it was great
Does the kindle preserve the formatting of the book?
Post link, I wanna read
The book is bad enough as it is. And now I hear you are reading it on an Kindle? Removing the books whole gimmick? What the actual frick is wrong with you anon?
