They often come with notes, yes. I found the quality of the notes quite alright. Some were excellent, some were less than decent. It depends. At least they're cheap.

The Republic
Keep in mind Reclam is best for reading. They're pretty basic, especially in older prints. They're certainly far from the best editions on any given text out there.

This, sometimes their translations are just whatever they could get for cheap.
For translations they sometimes even use 18th and 19th century texts which they slightly edit to fit current speech styles. They're not very transparent about it either. Reclam is usuably not a citable source for papers because of that. It's just for reading in cheap editions. I sometimes carry one of these in my pockets when I go somewhere.

You should translate titles correctly into your language so I wouldnt have to.
It's not "Stadt", you dummy. It's "Staat". One is "city" and the other "state" or, well "republic".
Your words for city and state shouldnt be so similar.
Words with five letters are already pretty hard for a dyslexic, I agree.

I just bought C. H. Bedition of Faust from Amazon.de. It's cheap, hardcover, complete and annotated. What else could you ask for?
