It's an IoT connected box!
You won't get any VC funding if it doesn't connect to the internet and come with an accompanying app that forces you to make an account so you can customize the LED colors and post to their shitty half-baked social media site.
Look again, that's the new op1 field. The msrp is $2000 and so the going market rate will be at least that based on availability if history has anything to say. Doesn't matter how much of a rip off the rest of us think it is.

>1200 tx6 and 1k op1
you overpay for overpriced stuff if you pay 3200
I bought the first op1, used it for 2 years and then sold it for 400€ more than i've originally paid for it to a random idiot who couldn't wait for it to be back in stock because muh YouTuber made a cool video with it.

it's frightening how such people exist. no wonder google makes billions of dollars a year when there's so many suckers that watch youtube and believe they're watching honest reviews instead of blatant paid-for product advertising.
If you're a teenage girl or a weeb with more money than sense, there's the divoom ditoo portable bluetooth speaker, it has clicky blue switches and a customizable pixel art display.
It's probably also unironically a chinese botnet, but it looks really neat.
yes? it's an incredibly niche device like this thread implies
I'm pretty sure it's a physical DVD drive emulator that loads ISOs and lets you access encrypted volumes using the keypad.

You can just install ventoy to a flash drive and copy as many ISOs as you want, they'll be presented as a list on both UEFI and legacy BIOS systems so you can choose any of them.
This covers a few more use cases beyond PCs though - you can make an infinite number of virtual USB sticks or Floppy drives and mount them from the menu, I burn bootable pi images to it all the time. And its not really much more expensive than a good SATA case anyway.
I use their other devices that I load all my ISO's for. Never know when you need a password cracker, Win 7 RE, or a disk duplicator in the field amongst other things. Beats carrying 50 flash drives and Rufus everywhere.
Also before someone says "Just use xxx bootloader w/ISOs on a flash drive " those do not emulate DVD drives and thus have compatibility issues. I have used those installed on a USB for 4 years, and my iODD device blows them out of the fricking water no competition.
People who design these things don't even play video games, do they?
I doubt they drink or eat either.
If you're creating anything, you barely have time for games.
Smart Phone
its just a box

good luck, you're looking at $3200 worth of equipment
Must be the most expensive set Fisher Price ever put out.

another pic I found
that's your room, isn't it?
I wish
those don't work.
it actually works if you have decent airflow, otherwise it will massively increase humidity and grow mold all over your room.
Pajeets use it a lot, it's just a fan with water vapor
They do if you live in a very, very dry place, like Arizona, Nevada or New Mexico.
Swamp cooler frog.
>asks for examples of nice, rich gadget
>posts a picture of a box
uh boxes have been around for a while bro
It's pretty niche but true /photography/ chads need this
I don't get it? A stovetop?
Newest IODD SATA Enclosure with virtual ISO DVD ROM emulation and VHD support. The distro-hopper's best friend.
What is this even for? Some niche?

Never seen this kind of thing before, looks like the VMU is back bros

Prusa mk3s+ 3d printer. It's simply the best kit printer money can buy. If you want better it just goes up from there.
>Me rich
use some of that money to teach yourself some proper english.
Get a good microscope and inspect some shit
Getting a mp3 player is still worth it. Extremely useful gadget to have with you, even if you own a mobile.
I use one every day
I recommend investing in a good one
Which I did not :/
The mk3 is terrible but at least it has good battery
i still have an iriver mp3/fm radio,11 or 12 years old, that still kicks ass. has micro sd card slot. damn useful. botnet free.
>not listening to cassette tapes on a 40 years old walkman
ngmi
The Sanyo logo makes me nostalgic
I have two Sony Walkmans that still work just fine and in pretty good shape. Been using them since 1992.
Does this support micro sd cards? That is the only thing that I would want on one.
nobro. wtf u never seen one of those?
U just take out the stick from the battery (that one thing is in fact 2 parts) then insert it into ur pc like a usb stick. No need for an sd card man
A umpc, pic rel is a gpd micro pc
theyre useless as shit but theyre so fun to tinker with just ricing linux and doing other mundane shit
bonus if youve really got cash to burn: build a kit that lets you turn a umpc into a mobile workstation/at least on par with a laptop
peak autism
you wanna know whats true peak autism? ditching the portable monitor for pic rel or worse:
ditching it for pic rel
>open face beer by all of that
gives me the creeps thinking about the imminent disaster
wow
