That's not a rare skill for this particular character, Romeo and Juliet isn't some obscure play and Shakespeare never envisioned Juliet as being depicted through a hair-lipped ethnic. It was deliberately chosen to distract from the work. 99% of those characters in the pic don't need to be white since it's not part of their character. Even if being white was an essential part of their character or it's major subtext, it's good to make a creative decision that can improve the work (Denzel Washigton as Macbeth and most of the picks you chose improved the work since the actors were good).
Would have to see the play before judging; my guess is that it's probably 'pulled off' convincingly. The Juliet may be a brilliant actress for all I know.
