In the same way, the Satanist will be saved on pentecost, when he learns to speak in tongues, and comes to realize that the morning star has had his victory, and the rebellion is over.
Has there ever been a successful satanic society besides Carthage?

I don't see it as a possibility. If a culture is a spectrum of success, with utopia at one end, and dystopia at the other, then accusations become less and less justified and/or needed, the closer you get to a perfectly functioning society.
Show me people who aren't Christian or going off the word of the Yaweh propaganda pamphlet who say Satan will be defeated.
Satan is the accuser.
The closer you are to heaven, the more christ like he becomes, because hell is full of errors, and everything should be opposed in that place. However, there is nothing to complain or rebell against in paradise. In the end, when we reach our goal of perfection, Satan falls away, and is no longer needed by God. He just becomes a memory, or a concept of how not act.
>missing the point entirely with more of the usual Christian apologetics
Show me any evidence without invoking Christianity or Jesus or Christian thought that says that Satan will be defeated
Why would you trust the word of someone who has outright stated that the only rival it has will be defeated? It's like saying that Zeus will inevitably be defeated because Kronos wrote a testament that says so.
>Satan will be defeated
Satan is defined as the accuser.
It is a word that means accusation.
Accusation is needed in a state of utter shit, where everything is fricked up. Accusation and rebellion are needed in a place of pain and suffering. In that place, you are justified in accusing and rebelling.
In a place of utopia, there is no need for rebellion.
Rebellion is destined to go away (fall), because we will be victorious, and in a place of victory, there is no need for rebellion.

It's not an opinion. It's a definition.
Satan, by definition, is an accuser. Just replace the word Satan with, "anything that accuses". It's the concept of rebellion.
When someone wins a victory, and achieves their goal, they don't need to rebel anymore. The conflict is gone.
Rebellion becomes useless when you achieve a victory Anon. It's just logical based on the definitions of the words.

I heard it meant adversary but whatever

Prometheus rebelled against Zeus, as did many other great mythological figures

Sometimes they do, there's always more work to be done

The Rebel Alliance from Star Wars continued to rebel because the Empire remained despite two death stars being destroyed, even if they became the dominant force in the galaxy

Maybe this is why the empire keeps coming back. If they had actually formed something worth holding onto, instead of just killing their precieved enemies in the cave of degoba, then they might be able to pass the test of the cave. You don't need your weapons. You only need what you take with you.

Some religions worship the flesh, others the spirit, and which one is held up will contribute to the way people describe the character in question.

Same thing. The edversary of forms is doubt. If all you do is doubt, you won't be able to formulate.
All great inventions of mankind are from formulation. Imagine a team if designers, and some dude in the corner just complains about everyone else's equations. This is great if the formula is all wrong and fricked up, but if the engineers have actually built something good, then the guy complaining is just some annoying pessimistic stumbling block.

you know that satanists don't believe in a literal satan, seeing it as a symbol and an archetype, nor they believe in the israeli and christian god or mythologies, right ?
>“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves” (Matt. 10:16).
Serpents are not evil. we have the staff of Aaron that Moses turned into a Snake, then later on a Bronze serpent. Then you have Seraphim, which are literal burning serpents.
Satanists don't have anything to do with christian imaginary beings; piss off, abrahamic cultist and don't come back unless you have something to contribute.
Protestants create potestors called protestants.
Protestants are satanic, by definition. It's literally in the name. This is the word of God. This is how we know "protestants" are not in heaven, just as Satan is not in paradise. People change their names all the time in the bible, so what will happen, is eventually, a protestant might gain power, and start to formulate, and either change the meaning of the word "protestant", or, admit that the war is over, and call themselves by another name.
There is a place for Satan in this world, because this world is not perfect.
Satanists don't have anything to do with christian imaginary beings; piss off, abrahamic cultist and don't come back unless you have something to contribute.
Satanism isn't actually real.
It's usually a bunch of edgy atheists who are trying to upset their Christian parents and also trying to push religious freedom to its furthest extent.
Then you have neo-pagans who talk about Satan but in a pre-Christian way which isn't actually connected to evil or the bible at all.
They also just like to use the imagery of Satanism to offend the religious
Genuine Luciferians, those who believe in the Bible but worship the guy fated to lose for some reason, are ridiculously rare if they even exist.
Most people who claim to be that are just people doing some kind of performance, like the musician Jinx who made her whole career as a Satanic vocalist for her band 'Coven'.
>rebellion isn't actually real. >It's usually a bunch of edgy people without a mental framework who are trying to upset their parents.
Rebellion is real, in all the ways that you have described it.
>Luciferians
Lucifer and Satan are not the exact same concept.
Lucifer means light bringer.
Satan means accuser.
Some accusations bring light to a situation. Jesus is also a light bringer.
I believe in the supremacy of the human soul over the God. I don't succumb to defeatism; on the contrary, I overcome fate. I do not adhere to a humiliation ritual. I am not humiliating; I am the One humiliation.
How did the disciples of jesus cope with his crucifixion?
They came to understand his victory on Pentecost and spread it across the world

The only people who think Satan is bound to fail are the people who wrote a giant book of propaganda lionizing his greatest rival.
It's like saying Vietnam was destined to lose because all of the American number crunchers and writings said so
Bull, show otherwise, you can't

The absolute state of Christian art.

If satan is an archtype for something real, then there must be some real manifestation for it to be an important archtype.
>then there must be some real manifestation for it to be an important archtype.
that make no sense
Not really, no

good point
dishonest post
Just because Satan once disguised himself as a snake doesn't mean snakes are evil.
God made snakes just as he made everything else.
