Performs better than Chrome, uses less memory, vertical tabs, only browser on the market that will decode DD/DD+ audio. If you're using Brave or Chrome over it on Windows, you're moronic. Only thing worth using would be an "unGoogled" Chromium.
i used to prefer it for all the reasons anons are saying, but this piece of shit got so bloated is unreal. i said this in another thread, but it probably takes you somewhere upwards of 3 months to turn off all of the unnecessary bullshit and make it as sleek as possible, and even then that wouldn't be close to how lean other browsers can look/feel
Better than Goynet Explorer, can't believe Goysoft pushed that one for years. An absolute trash browser. Even nowadays looks like it's from early 2000s, prone to cyber-attacks and uses old protocols.
I use it on Linux cause it's the only browser that supports native vertical tabs (besides arc which is mac only)
I'll go back to FF when they add vertical tabs
Edge has a video enhancer like Opera GX, it works with both RTX cards as well as integrated graphics. Helps a bit when viewing old video content that aren't HD
>fast and efficient browsing experience >built-in security features like Microsoft Defender SmartScreen >enhanced privacy with tracking prevention >seamless synchronization across multiple devices >collections feature for organizing research and content >integration with Microsoft services for enhanced productivity >compatibility with extensions for customization >smooth operation on both Windows and Mac systems
wrong, that browser sells you
>sell me proprietary software
LOL why
>sell me a proprietary chromium fork
>when i could just use a FOSS chromium instead
LOL why
It comes with the system, so you don't have to waste time looking for and installing something else. It does help you to browse the interwebz.

Ninth post, best post.
>Seach for IQfy in Bing
>It's doesn't link you to it.
If you write "4cha" the first result is IQfy
well it's fast on windows and performs better than chrome with less memory. but I use brave unless I need to ~~*sign in*~~
Great text to speech with 100+ voices, even cute and funny ones.
Also built in GPT if you care about that.
is there even a point when gpt is now also built into windows?
the fricking tts
$0 take it or leave it
>take it or leave it
I'll leave it.
It's somehow faster than base Chromium. Still wouldn't recommend daily driving it for a whole bunch of other reasons.
such as?
will the AI thing make edge the best browser in a few years?
chromeshit with the added trust of microsoft 😉
tbh if you're already on windows and want to install another chromeshit browser just use edge
Side bookmarks with category creations.
moronic, meant tabs
vertical tabs
maybe the natural voices when you enable reader mode
it just werks
it's chrome but microsoft flavored
Well uh.. You can... Hmmm... You can watch porn on it and Bill gates will watch you?
Idk, I feel like they're gonna make this web browser even tougher to get rid of in the future versions of Windows and more predatory.
Just let it sit there. Watch wireshark. Observe how much it talks to the internet using SSL, without any user input.
For me it's xml editing in explorer

It's based

It's good if you use a Microsoft account
The AI thing is useful tbh and it’s fast and works well with a microshit ID.
