no because if you ever want to resell it in the future its better to have a pristine charger, they get scratched up super easy but if it looks new you can lie about how much you used it

you are shortening its lifespan by not allowing the heat to dissipate propperly

You ever find a sticker on something years after you bought it?

Yesterday I peeled off the screen protector sticker on my digital caliper that I've had for like 5 years and just never noticed it.

        so should i keep it?

Oh my God the resale value!!! The heckin' fricken' resale value!!!!!! What if in 18 years you have to sell your laptop to make a rent payment in the heckin' big city you live in!!?? You're going to be so glad you kept all the plastic all over your devices and never got to experience the joy of the true feeling of those items!! Keep everything wrapped in plastic!! I keep my dock wrapped in plastic so if I need to trade in my gf I can say I never even banged her!!!

Who the frick would want to buy a second-hand laptop charger?

The same person who buys a second hand laptop and expects it to come with a charger

What's even the point of pretending you used the charger less than you actually did if it's the laptop they're buying? The laptop is going to have signs of wear, you're just going to make it look like the original charger broke and you got a replacement.

I noticed plastic film on the mouse glide pads three months after I bought it after they started peeling on their own.
I still can't be bothered to remove plastic from router antennae. It just stuck there so tightly.
