If your current PC already has its ram slots full and using an SSD and it still feels like you're having issues multitasking, sure. Single core on the 5800 is similar to a 7th gen i5, multicore is much better.
just realize you cant upgrade the processor in these things, and if anything goes wrong these Chinese manufacturers won't provide any support, and even if they do it will be in broken English and you'll be expected to pay shipping.
The build quality on these is really spotty too, and they aren't opposed to sending out defective batches and then blaming the customer.

For the same price you could probably build an upgradable mini ITX build with a small form factor.
I have a mini pc with identical specs though and its pretty decent, the 780M graphics can also run a lot of games at low to medium settings.

I have the SER5, and it's good and bad. Good in that it performs well (GPU kinda sucks though) and is really cheap, bad in that it is loud and runs hotter than you'd expect. No use for gaming IMO unless you're streaming it, but it's a good workstation PC for anything that doesn't need a GPU.

Yes but you have limited upgrade path. Also the igpu is not much better than what you have. I bought a similar one a year ago for $225 USD.
