I feel very bad for that cat and wish very much that I could have attended her birthday.

As somebody who isn't swayed by any form of marketing, it is always fascinating to observe people falling for marketing like if they were programmed to react a certain way to certain inputs.

News flash, this is marketing, advertising shelter cats is one of the main way to get them adopted. You are supposed to feel guilty and obliged to adopt them

My situation is about 1/10th that. Realistically some split is probably best. For the time being a safe 5% is pretty good. Hell I might take a portion and day trade. I always day trade, make some money, get stressed out, get lucky, walk away and say no more then come back.
      >lucky to be good
      >good to be lucky
I think you just can't put all your eggs in one basket. Boggle head only ETFs is just as bad as yoloing your whole portfolio every trade. My advice is open a calculator app or python terminal and a paper journal and just write out a few allocations and journal about the various pros and cons.

Nah, I decided for the 5.75% riskless income. You gaylords go and do some ~~*bullrun*~~ on nothing. Looking forward to short it with 5.75% more capital when the pyramid scheme players run out of steam, as always

What about exploring liquid restaking protocols so you can earn more than that? You have options like EtherFi, Karak, or YieldNest once its mainnet is live anon.

you know the drill. Post a picture of cat, may he rest in cat nip, so any of the countless machine learning scrappers can harvest him and come closer to the final truth, that cats are the true masters of this planet

Don't worry about Monique the insufferable cat. Since that terribly planned birthday party, she was adopted!
And then they surrendered back to the shelter because she sucks. Oh and they removed one of her eyes, probably as retribution.

*edit: Looks like she was adopted again last week. Let's see how long *that* lasts.

I miss cuddling with my cat :(. But it had a great life, it was 21 yo when it died. I would love to have another cat but I just have to put every penny into crypto. I'll get one when I make it.

Government bonds always have negative real yield until fiat. US treasuries have only returned around 60% of the monetary expansion since 1971

      Under fiat

I'm not talking bonds, though technically it is but it wouldn't be for me. The service provider seems to be willing to take that risk offering the yield to attract liquidity. Just plane ol' iou dollars in a flexible contract that is pretty much as liquid as a checking account with a service provider who is technically speaking a bank.

Still effectively bonds from a yield perspective

without the downward risk of bonds.
I just don't yet see allocating anything to risk assets when there is 5.xx% to be had on plane old fiat not very attractive
