The only/best argument for a simulation is that if it's possible to create a perfect simulation of the universe then inevitably someone in that simulation will create a new simulation, repeat ad infinitum, and since infinity is really big then it's basically impossible to be the original non-simulation world. But yeah, it falls squarely on the line between theology and metaphysics and people who genuinely and wholeheartedly believe that we're living in one need a thorough psych evaluation.

If that is the standard, its basically impossible for any particular world to exist because every world would have the exact same infinitesimal odds of being.
This is such a dumb argument. The substrate of the original simulation cannot contain infinite information, therefore the notion of infinite nested simulations isn't logical. Even if the number were arbitrarily large, the number of possible realities in terms of quantum states is infinite, so it's kind of facile to point it out.
Besides, the idea is basically unfalsifiable and has no utility currently, it's like saying we live in a Matrioshka Brain or we are Maha-Vishnu's dream
