Since the Helldivers community just defeated Sony over PSN accounts, maybe we can use our weaponized autism to force Microsoft to stop enforcing Microsoft accounts as well on Windows 11? I've already heard rumors that oobebypassnro is patched in insider builds of 24H2.

What's wrong with a Microsoft account? It's super helpful between multiple devices.

The difference is Microsoft don't force MS accounts.

That's being patched in 24H2 and not an option in the Home SKU. And if you get a laptop with S mode you have to at least sign into a Microsoft account once to remove S mode.

You have rufus and registry trick

So wipe the gimped version and install normal one?

I tried that, the S mode shit is embedded in the firmware.

It literally isn't. There are dozens of tutorials on how to disable it from the OS level and it has nothing to do with firmware.

You care, that's what's most important. Of others want to pay for it, it's their freedom to do so.

    >to stop enforcing Microsoft accounts
There are already multiple decent workarounds that you can use to install WIndows 11 without MS account (like with Rufus for example) , and there will be even more in the future, since Windows is a swiss cheese in that regard. You have to be exceptionally lazy and/or tech-illiterate for those workarounds to be too hard for you. Only /misc/ roaches would be dumb enough to try and start some kind of social campaign over this.

No such thing since Win7. Windows only gets worse with each update.
