>So honey, how is our son doing with his job search?
>Badly, I'm afraid. He didn't send a single resume for last couple of days.
>But why? Doesn't he know he can't rely on us forever? What happened?
>Apparently his computer isn't working properly.
>How come?
>I don't know. He keeps saying he uses only "free software". Maybe it would work better if he paid for it for once, I don't know.
>So what exactly is the problem?
>No idea. He keeps showing me his screen and talking about "ricing". He sounds crazy honestly.
>What does rice have to do with searching for job?
>I asked him that and he told me it's important for "productivity". Seconds later he yelled something about some plasma crashing again...?
>He's so caught up in his PC, spending so much time in front of the screen can't be healthy.
>I'm worried about him. If I knew that cheap laptop would break so often I'd pay more. Whatever it takes just so he can finally find a proper job.
>Maybe you could have a manly talk with him? About responsibilities of an adult man?
>Didn't go so well last time. He's still mad about that damned creepy pillow.

Remember, anons - don't use this distro.

distro fragmentation is the bane of progress, literally use ubuntu (or debian if you really are peak freetard) and stop wasting effort elsewhere

    debian or arch
those are the only two choices - everything else is a meme distro

meme distro, the only other good non systemd choice is void

literally the opposite. do you even know about the void coup? void is pretty much dead now as a result

see the copyright at the bottom of their site. the founder and lead developer xtraeme got couped out of his own project by troondevs. this was a major happening, so how new are you? no surprise the troons made the BLM tweet a few months later
alpine is vastly superior in every way. the antithesis of a meme distro, so i don't understand why anyone would say that

Damn thats unfortunate, i actually have void installed on my t420 but it is been a couple days since i last booted it, i guess i should migrate it to alpine, never tried alpine before
            >how new are you?
I dont really browse IQfy that much anymore, thanks for the spoonfeeding btw

alpine package maintainers are literally all trannies, don't you remember one leaving and orphaning literally half the packages? if you want my distro, see pic related.

their rolling release package repository literally beats arch in bleeding edge and the package coverage is BIG. anyone can contribute to packages because the build system is easy peasy. you just needs to pass a straightforward code review (https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Creating_an_Alpine_package#Code_review) and you're in
troondevs are unavoidable in the linux ecosystem. what's important is that the core dev team are the same apolitical 3-4 european males since the beginning and that the distribution has technical merit. artix is installer scripts and init patches (doesn't address the other problems other than ínit wars) on top of an already meme distro. it's unusable outside of desktop daily driver while alpine has both rolling and stable and can be used for anything

OpenSUSE automatically creates snapshots before and after every update. Just roll back to the last good update and get back to work.

Literally the most practical distro to get work done with.

For real. I have never had issues. I have evenroken the fstab and I just rollback with snapper. OP is gay and moronic.

Btrfs snapshots are copy-on-write (you don't know what that means because you're a moron.) And furthermore, snapper isn't configured to keep them forever.

openSUSE is fine. Debian, Arch, openSUSE/Fedora are QUITE ACTUALLY the only distros that are relevant
