Great idea, but the whole structure of it filters out most people who aren't gigaspergs of some variety, and from there it's a feedback loop. Normalgays stick to megacorp social media, and smaller non-federated sites are generally dead.
I was going to ask why projects like this don't just say something like "anyone can use our software, it's not our business" but I should know by now it's a test of tribal alliances. I'm just tired of seeing it.
