>spend way too long coding
>brain is still thinking in programming logic for hours
Does this happen to anyone else or am I just autistic?

It happens to me as well, but I am autistic
Unironically go to the gym. Clears my mind and let's me focus on this autistic hobby instead of my other autistic joys and responsibilities.
Same thing OP.
Anon here has a point though:
>spend too long assembling/dissassembling car
>brain is still thinking in angles, access and bolt sizes
Still not as bad as working as a tire technician during the winter/summer transition
>burn 3000-4000kcal a day
>can´t fricking sleep without random inputs of the storage, tools, jack points or nuts/bolts
>the winter/summer transition
you troon out every year? back and forth?
Zoning out mentally?
No, too busy for that.
If you live far enough north, summer tires won´t work on ice, and winter tires have improper brake distance and studs on summer. You could go cheap and get some variant of all seasons, but most of them are horrid for the extremes of both seasons.
So:
As part of the modern horror of capitalism and value chains, you get a ´professional´ to do it, which means 10 minutes a car for the job. Including storage and washing. For 10-12 hours a day, for about a month. Sure some people buy new rubber on top of changing wheel sets, but that is only 1/6 to 1/20 customers a day.
>summer tires won´t work on ice, and winter tires have improper brake distance and studs on summe
maybe for you pampered americans, here in eastern europe nobody gives a shit
Yup happens to me sometimes, I have trouble sleeping afterwards.
Glad to know I'm not the only one
This applies to everything. Any time you immerse yourself in something your brain will continue to think of solutions or ideas long after you finish for the day. Same thing can happen with vidya, or animu, or just about anything.
and if you slept right after you'll dream in it
Maybe if you write rust
I love this unironically. My thinking is so clear, like I'm thinking purely in if statements.
eventually you'll start coding in your dreams
Yeah I can't turn my brain off.
it happens to anyone who has a job/occupation.
I had a bad trip once and I was literally thinking in terms of for and while loops. It was crazy.
>try a lucid dream method posted on /x/
>have a fricking horrifying Lovecraftian nightmare with 4 spatial dimensions
Never again.
>for hours
I think and dream in code and math notation now.
