using a real computer for development. one with a keyboard.
i know steamdeck counted as your birthday and christmas present so you’ll have to wait but a real computer is great.
Shit build quality. Play games a couple hours and R1 already made a squeaky sound and a bit loose. Need to put a piece of tap to make it tight. Left trackpad is louder than the left. Whole trackpad rattles.
always having a computer with you is a psyop. value your time to not be always available. honour the computer by taking time to sit down at the dedicated terminal.

This uses a computer CPU (x86) and not a phone CPU (ARM) like modern macbooks.
I think the RAM is soldered but at least the SSD isn't.
You can use a Bluetooth keyboard though
>Stead Deck
>Steed Deck
Give it back, Tyrone
Hey, that's my deck! Give it back!
>didn't wipe it and cram wind*ws into it
BASED
>Steam Deck
>Runs Linux
Literally unusable
Consider switching to a GPD device. Same form factor, but you get a sliding keyboard and better specs.
>lasts 20 min on battery power
No, thank you.
Looking sleek, but the reddit page is full of complaints. How's your experience with it?

You wont randomly find yourself stuck in line for something with those in your pocket. Also it being your phone means not carrying 2 devices.
pmos on devices with a keyboard should also be good
>ARM
omegalol
Not holding my breathe for anything x86 that goes in a normal pocket
Hey you found my steam deck! I thought I had lost it forever.
That's nice. Still not buying a Steam Deck.
it would actually make for a pretty nice belly pack or rov/uav control pad, with enough horsepower for overlays not normally possible
are you black ?
I made it through the entire thread without noticing
I'm healing <3
Black person hand. give it back jamal
