      Noel. Mate.
Gonna be honest with you lad.
I could lie a bit here, say it. Say the world
Albums don't matter. "listening to albums are a fricking waste of time" but that'd be wrong. It'd be fricking wrong
      On a fundamental level.

'cause when it comes down to it. It's not all albums. It's Oasis albums and the like. Shit tier collections.
I imagine that's what Noel was getting at, his genre of music translated into books.

So anyway. Lots of good fiction available. All of 'em way better than an Oasis album. Some of them are even better than a blur album!
None of them, not one is better than trying to be Jonny Ma-

It’s so fricking childish and immature for grown men. Noel has to learn to accept who he is and stop pretending to be something he’s not. You can tell that he hates that his brother was always the cool and “good looking one” who got most of the girls, but he can’t accept that he’s still gotten laid plenty with surely attractive women and has his own family plus is genuinely one of the best pop rock songwriters whether any of you want to admit it or not. I mean he wrote a song so ubiquitous there’s a joke everybody knows attached to it. (Which more so makes fun of the song’s fans than the song itself). I mean shit my best friend in college had put a similar effect on me as Liam did to Noel. He always got with prettier girls and any time he was around every girl was drawn to him and not me (I’m not bad looking but only 5’10 and he’s 6’3 and model tier). And it did suck and I could dwell in misery but that’ll do me no good. I’ve gotten laid a lot maybe not with a lot of 8’s and above but still some good looking girls. Accept life, or be miserable.

Reminder that Noel Gallagher is a homosexual on such a grand scale, there should be epics written about it. His PR firm carefully curated his entire personality during Oasis to maximize on his pretend “working class” upbringing. Even his pretend fandom of Manchester City is pretend, it’s just something they told him to support.

thats an arbitrary statement, theres a lot to consider and unlike fiction with like a fricking boring ass 300 page book about nothing except feelings, like i could find roman coins n shit and learn history that way. people could focus on telling me good history entertainingly without inventing something that never happened that basically is a waste of time to read for 10 hours lol

Memorising the minutiae of Roman coinage is about as useful as ASOIAF lore.

Just because fiction is about things that didn't happen doesn't mean it isn't important.
A Christmas Carol is one of the most influential books in history. It affected the ways that Christmas is celebrated around the word. It introduced the word "scrooge" to the English language and defined the word "humbug". It inspired acts of charity that saved and improved the lives of untold numbers of people.
All books, fiction or non, have the potential to change the world. Even when they don't, any book has the ability to change your own life. They can introduce you to new concepts and new ways of thinking. They can give you strength when you are weak. And when you're having a bad day, they can make it a little better.
I wouldn't say any of those things is a waste of time.
