Trying to install on my new work computer and can't find the fn key.

It was just click down pathway and there it was. I dropped him a note asking for instructions again (they're not lengthy just a particular path) but he is a uber xian and I've now got a skeleton (as a joke) on my door. He didn't reply.

So the plan to replace NT kernel with Linux isn't the only thing they are working towards they now have systemd.exe on the roadmap as well? Neat

      Anonymous

naw famalam, they're gonna use their leverage on systemd to make changes that support WSL and frick over Linux distros. systemd is like a gay man with his entire lubed-up fist shoved into the gaping butthole of Linux at this point, with all fingers stretched out to wrap around the prostate and wiener-root from the inside. And now it's time for them to squeeze. You can't just pull away from the hand now because your entire butthole will prolapse outwards and take years to heal.
Don't say you weren't warned years ago, but you just loved how it felt going in.

        Anonymous

Nope. The first logical thing is to add windows style registry feature to systemd in order to replace /etc, which clearly is a complete mess of all sorts of text files with no clear logic behind them, and have all settings on linux systems managed from a single point. Just like it is done on Windows. It's a win-win for both as that MS would need that feature on their upcoming systemd.exe as well

          Anonymous

100%. Then it'd be easy to back it up, as it's just a versioned binary file coupled to a specific subset of systemd versions that it's compatible with, unless it gets corrupted or an application fricks with it, but that's why systemd-registryd would have automatic encrypted backups. It can integrate with systemd-homed too to replace ~/.config, and if there's ever any data-loss bugs or insecurities all old versions can just be migrated to new versions and not usable by older versions of systemd-registryd.

      >maybe they can look up the internal org chart to see if this moron is there
Make sure you have a plausible sounding reason for doing this. That kind of stuff gets logged and if a screenshot of it were posted to IQfy to ""harass an employee"" you can be sure they'd check the logs.

        Anonymous

lmao nah. it's probably going to be as simple as an outlook lookup, or on their intranet sharepoint system they have. they wont log that. just make sure to capture it externally, and not via a screenshot sent to yourself. ive sent plenty of internal(not confidential) stuff to people over the years that way.

          Anonymous

          >>lmao nah. it's probably going to be as simple as an outlook lookup, or on their intranet sharepoint system they have. they wont log that.
At a big and tech savvy company like Microsoft, ALL LOGGED. Bet your life on this. A company with as many people as microsoft has disputes between employees all the time, so they keep logs of everything like this. If Lennart says IQfy is harassing him (and if he finds out, he will certainly raise a stink about it. He's a huge whiny b***h), HR will pull those logs 100%.

The Linux kernel itself has had numerous instances where bugs were introduced in to it after they were previously removed, a sheer lack of checking what is being added to the source before release.
