Yeah trying to do anything other than text messages and email on mobile OSes is a complete fricking waste of time. It's frustrating because you can technically do more so you get nerd sniped into hacking around all the stupidity but it never works well if at all. You'll be so much happier if you just pretend it's a flip phone.
pretty much, the hardware has the capabilities, but ~~*they*~~ just cripples the thing to hell for banks and other "institutions"
>gets killed from background as soon as you switch from it
Not true >confined into an app and its "app space"
True but even then you can access adb and some cool stuff
try to run anything in the background using termux
>"app space"
just. root. your. shit. >killed from background
fixable without root and much frickery. you can adb locally (through termux itself) to fix the issue.
yes, root it, and the whats the next step? also tell me your method to circumvent the background restrictions "rooted" in kernel level without root.

adb locally into your device, run `/system/bin/device_config put activity_manager max_phantom_processes 2147483647`.
no root needed, worked for me. you guys don't use search engines to seek answers?
Thanks for the (You) but I'll just have the following
am start --user 0 -n com.termux.x11/.MainActivity
termux-x11 :0 -xstartup "dbus-launch --exit-with-session xfce4-session" &
sleep 3
export DISPLAY=:0
dillo
that's nice, but i've been using aria2c for my linux torrenting needs for years, it's also on termux
Imagine using aria2c
It works just fine, what's the issue?
need something like this for ipad.
Haha never ever possible
Ye, app sandboxing will frick it all.
And if that doesn't get you, the connect to itunes logo will brick your shit

What's the point even, you don't have PC friend?
It's comfy
>when you baby duck so hard you won't adapt away from a user interface that was obsolete 60 years ago
Doesn't work for me, what repo is it on?

It's cool on a technical level but I don't see why torrent on a phone. It's not like this is the first torrenting app either.
Mini seedbox for private trackers just to gather some good goy points
It's nice to be able to use Dillo through Termux-X11. Is there a lesser painful way to run it?
Interesting
Use case or btfo.
