I just googled "fiat chrysler detroit" from your text.
>I mean its close but automotive should be in the next line...
yeah but this is minimal and easily fixed.
Here I just exported a template to .docx and imported it to libreoffice

I mean why not make the formatting perfect?
I thought docx documents were supposed to be some kind of xml anyways so it has very detailed instructions on how the formatting ought to be done on the document file itself.

The problem with Linux office suites is they lack integration with Microsoft office 365 or Google docs which is obviously unavoidable.
Cloud integration is necessary when collaborating with people at university or in the workplace and try as I may I can't convince normies to use nextcloud lmao.
Imagine needing this bullshit for work. Lmao officecucks. Suck any middle manager dick lately? Got those power points ready for the meeting? Sure you arent out of pens?
At my job all finished documents are .pdf to discourage editing them once they’re complete and for its superior security features. Your office software must export a valid pdf, thats it, so users of any OS can work from home. We do this partly because macgay office still breaks word documents. But sure its just linux! Microsoft made this product because of macs.
If I'm working on a document in Libre Office and need to send it to someone who uses Word should I save it as .doc or .docx? Exporting to a .pdf isn't an option.
unironically keep it as an .odt file and pray that you get it back with the same format; MS Word is better at handling .odt files than LO editing .docx files created or modified by MS Word
You say it like it's shocking. .odt files are standardized, MSO's default file formats are not. You have to tweak Word to output documents that play nice with other programs.
I use libreoffice over ms office on my windows machine because I find it way more usable than ms office. Especially since it started forcing me to log in with my Microsoft account in my fricking Word processor. Also libreoffice draw is perfect for editing pdf documents
>Yeah I made two thread about office software not being available on linux DESPITE BEING OPEN SORES
Maybe don't do that you stupid fricking homosexual. Nobody wants your literal shill posts. >not me
lol, sure thing buddy.
the latest updoot of libreoffice got some nice office shit. importing docx etc. now works really good
emac.
can you make a side by side comparison of the formatting?
Pic related is only office though

Microsoft word is the only that can translate documents right sadly

Using docx files from different versions of word still results in errors

I prefer onlyoffice but libre office is ok too.

There's both LibreOffice and OpenOffice.
What is the issue with these as Microsoft Office alternatives.
reread the thread
That answered absolutely nothing.

docx is better

Linux is a server OS
The year of the Linux desktop is never coming
Linux desktops will always be inferior
Deal with it.

hello 2010 time traveler, unaware of the atrocity of nu-windows
Did you see the fancywm thread i posted?
Imagine if that were linux.
