Melmoth the Wanderer. I read volume 1 of 4 and put it on hold for 12 months. I just wasnt getting enough out of it and it was painfully slow. I will finish it though.

there was a thread a few months ago asking for best novelist, philospher, and poet, and at the very least 60% if not more of the posters said they didn't like poetry and couldn't name one favorite. says all you need to know.
