People need to stop taking pride in having inner monologues and mental visualisations. Everyone can talk to themself and picture an apple in their head. You think it makes you smart but it's like bragging about having two hands and feet. You aren't olympic sprinters just because you're faster than the small proportion of people missing legs. Visit any social media post about this and every comment talks about their internal monologue or ability to see a realistic apple. It's a circlejerk that only exists to make you feel smart and special

The whole reason inner monologues have come up in recent years is because the idea that someone doesn't have one is bizarre. It was never meant to make you feel special, just to make other people feel stupid.

I was telling my mother just last night that any time she feels bad about our financial situation, she should blame our terrible country instead of feeling like she did something wrong, because she was the absolute model of a successful middle class citizen who contributes to their country, stays out of debt, rises above the station they were born in, and in turn raises kids who rise above her station. She is the living epitome of the Western dream and the entire project of the West: the ideal of the "middle class" that thrives by its own efforts and its own innate pride and desire for self-betterment. She's proof that humanity is basically good. It's not HER fault that the country she's living in chose to become a farcical Africa-tier failed state in her lifetime and then actually flood itself with literal Africans and Indians who consume 95% of social resources. Has my mother ever littered intentionally in her entire life? Even once? Have I? No. Have any of my siblings? No. So whence all the fricking litter in this city? In our hometown? Why do I live in filth and decay, normalized? Is it because my mother rose from lower middle class to middle class and enabled me to enter the upper middle class? Is that why there's filth and trash and turds all over the floor everywhere I go? Is it my model middle class mother's fault that every street in town is filled with drug addicts and schizophrenics who feel instinctive entitlement to and ownership of this once beautiful city? No.

So why do you feel bad that you can't get published in this dead, zombified, nightmarish era of pure hell? Why do you feel bad when the publishing industry equivalent of an 80 IQ Pakistani, who brought his entire family over because your corrupt country inexplicably offered him free money to be a net loss to the economy, at the expense of the native taxpaying and GDP producing population, decides that your book isn't good enough because it doesn't have enough children who cut their breasts off in it? Why do you insist on playing by a rigged game's rules? You are playing Calvinball with schizophrenic women and black littering pothead mental patients with a 1/3 chance to be in prison at any given time. You are handing the keys to your life over to satanic degenerates and chemically obliterated circus freaks.

This is Babylon. Stop CRYING that the Ministry of What's Good in Babylon currently issues daily proclamations that CUTTING YOUR breasts OFF AND LITTERING is good, and the Ministry of What's Bad currently issues daily proclamations that BATHING AND PERFORMING ASSIGNED TASKS ADEQUATELY are bad. FRICK Babylon.

What are you implying? Economics curricula are made almost entirely a series of mathematics and statistics courses, if you didn’t know.

Are you moronic? How is not obvious to you that the sort of mathematics in an economics department and a mechanical engineering department diverge while both being mathematical? Obviously, you will get more into vector analysis while she will have spent more time with time series and regression analyses. The thing about Econ is that while it’s always mathematical, the level of mathematics is pretty much up to the individual. You can do 4 years of calculus, 3 of calculus and multivariate, 2 of calculus, 1 of multivariate, and 1 of vectors, etc. but you mathbugs don’t get any choice.

There was a great Twitter thread about books that have prose that only explains characters' actions and their dialogue, no sense of real personality since theirs no style. If you look at popular books with medicore quality, you see this style everywhere. This type of prose is one of the biggest culprits of the publishing industry nowadays, in my opinion, and many others. It's the lack of standards, which makes simple books popular. A lot of books, even some literary ones, are written like a pitch to a movie producer (what some guy said in the Twitter thread) or its infantizling. Since literary fiction is inherently slow and time-consuming to an overly consumer culture. The market for literary books that truly challenge the reader or have an interesting prose that needs to be studied is just not important anymore for a lot of people. Publishers know what sells, so they're going to take the most profitable option even if they may dislike the quality. It's also good to keep in mind that editors and literary agents truly know the quality of a work in the publishing industry, publishers can be hit or miss if they understand great literary art currently. So I wouldn't put all the blame on just the publishers, blame our consumer culture, and the infantizling that's been eroding America way before the 21st century

Hahaha. No. No, you see, your mistake here is you're using the old 20th century definition. Not the new and improved woke 21st century definition. Diversity no longer means "showing a great deal of variety," it means "black." Disabled does not refer to a war veteran who lost his legs, but to a girl who needs her emotional support pupper when going to the weed dispensary or else she'll have a panic attack.

And me, personally, I think it's absolutely disgusting that people are proud of being autistic. Like wearing a great big name tag on your chest that says "I'm moronic!" If I have to pretend to be moronic to get published, drool on my shirt, wear a bicycle helmet all the time, and go "DURRRRR!" then I'd rather not be published.

They do some pretty good work. As Ezra Pound said:
            >Jefferson thought the formal features of the American system would work, and they did work till the time of general Grant but the condition of their working was that inside them there should be a de facto government composed of sincere men willing the national good. When the men of their understanding, and when the nucleus of the national mind hasn’t the moral force to translate knowledge into action I don’t believe it matters a damn what legal forms or what administrative forms there are in a government. The nation will get the staggers.
            >I think the American system de jure is probably quite good enough, if there were only 500 men with guts and the sense to USE it, or even with the capacity for answering letters, or printing a paper.

No. It pretty much is every single one. You clearly don’t understand how publishing works. These publishers rely on patronage from larger interests groups and purchasers of books. Those groups and purchasers are interested in politics. For them, books are basically just propaganda. And since conservative groups do the same thing but aren’t really interested in fiction or poetry to further their ends, that means fiction and poetry is monopolized by lefty publishers. And it is almost all of them because the ones who won’t do this don’t operate for very long. There’s no money in publishing only white male authors anymore, even if the only good books are written by white male authors.

I think there is an enormous market for non-woke fiction. Whoever is first to capitalize on that will strike gold.

You still don't get it. It doesn't matter if there's an untapped market.
There are government grants in my country that give blank checks to publishers if they publish books that align with their values.

This means no publisher is looking for anything other than fat black cripple dykes writing books about anything other than white healthy men.

These grants are pure corruption. They actively tell publishers what to print to get their free check.

Bragging about sabotaging economies and destroying nations for personal gain is a real good way to get what's coming to you. One of the greatest injustices in this world is that Boomers will keep kicking the can down the road and likely get to die of natural causes before the consequences of both their actions and their inaction is fully manifest.
For your sake; you better hope you're a boomer and not a Gen X while spouting that crap like you're proud of it.

Zoomers are also the fattest generation ever and it's not close.
