The most red pilling book I have ever read in my life yet.
Literally “I knew nothing before I read it, now I now everything” type of a book

The pic is cringe af, but it does it’s purpose well
Its*
It's 80 pages of banal commentary on culture how exactly was it groundbreaking?
It’s not fricking commentary. It says WHY our soc is so nihilistic
>WHY
hahahab do second year uni students really delude themselves this severely over their moronic mentally weak idol l?
>mentally weak
You are one if you type this way. Getting angry of a guy killing himself.
Not angry. Just havin a laugh, m8. Don’t be such a bitter c**t like your mentally weak idol who is just a glorified Zizek for morons who discovered Depeche Mode in their 20s
trying to hit my nerve so hard 😀
Fisher is not your personal jesus
>jesus
He died, let him rest already.
>doesn’t get the reference
Maybe you are just a moron who has never read Fisher then
Seems like I am not much of a fun as yourself?
Aye
And what exactly is your point about him anyway? He accused Nirvana for everything you listed above
You sound a bit dense, m8. Probably American, I reckon.
I am a pгoud citizen of United States of USA
I tried to describe the feeling, not to make a statement
No he doesn't, it's all surface level commentary
>soc
>uni
I instantly disregard the posts of people who write like this just FYI
Oh. I looked up, “commentary” actually means different thing in English. So you’re right. But I didn’t know our SOCIETY worked this way. I thought the stuffing didn’t exist.
I have seen OPs pic related shilled on here but can't say I've read it, I didn't realize it was only 80 pages, thanks for the information anon, it is essentially like all the other political pamphlets I see on here from time to time.
Mark Fisher was a suicidal moron like Guy Debord and Giles Deleuze and all three of them are boiling in excrement in the ninth circle of hell
>hell
Bible morons never change. Glhf
Good thing I’m much smarter than you for reading the Bible than some communist doomer drivel. Where’s your revolutionary vanguard? Oh right, Fisher killed himself because he even he realized the entire ideological project was a fraud.
Outsmart my ass
Dilate
Gilles Deleuze actually had a good reason to kill himself though. Fisher should’ve done enough amphetamines like Nick Land to turn himself into a based moron.
sure
meh
This is the definitive red pill book. The problems start much earlier
If you knew nothing before you read it, why do you think you are fit to judge whether it is true?
previous is for you
Was Fisher israeli? Wikipedia is suspiciously quiet about it.
From what I’ve heard, yes
Read this as a teenager.
It was the first time anyone gave me permission to be unapologetically excellent.
Set my life on a completely different course.
israeli
Ayn Rand and objectivism are an excellent place to start on one's ideological journey, as it breaks a lot of false ideas that are hammered into everyone's heads in 21st century. The stereotype of the 14 year-old capitalist libertarian is a very real one, and as long as you grow out of that phase you'll be all the better for it.
This is speaking as somebody who thinks Ayn Rand's ideology would never work, and that objectivism is wrong
What do you think should replace that "phase"?
My specific ideology
how convenient for you
care to elaborate?
Sure:
I am supreme god-emperor, and whatever I say goes. All research is put into anti-aging research so that I can become immortal and rule over my subject for all time.
Also society starts a human breeding experiment to create 9 foot tall, muscular, highly attractive, sexually dominant Amazon women to be my personal bodyguard and to choke me out with their thighs
how's that working out for you?
I read my political manifesto to a crowd of people the other day, they seemed really into it. Unfortunately the cashier threw me out, she said that McDonalds had a no "political rabble rousing" rule. Complete bullshit. I'll have to try again next week at my local Wendy's.
i should have guessed
i think i'll stick with rand
I'm all for the 9 ft tall dominant women choking me with their thighs part.
I will lend you a couple once I'm in power if you join my political party
Done and done, for the sake of posterity I will start writing in Anon on every vote, unless you already have the requisite number of people to make a party in which case, I'm in.
Your life is a failure
I really hope you're behind a proxy, cause once I'm in charge I'm going to backtrace your IP, have my cyberpolice arrest you, then have my amazons pop your head like a watermelon with their thighs
definitely the most extreme reaction to rand's philosophy of reason that i've ever encountered
Ye I read it when I was 17 with Nietzsche and shit like that. It took me a lot of years to realize how moronic this book was. So you could say it changed my life (for a while).
The literally example of "I painted myself as a chad and you as the basedjak therefore I win".
Not saying that you cant learn and apply a little bit of what the book says to your mindset. But you can say that about literally any ideology.
Also Im graduated in Economy, so if any of you wants to teach me about the great benefits of this book and Anarcho-capitalism in real life, I probably know more about economy than you and no 100 words in a chinese origami forum board is gonna make me change my mind.
>The literally example
>Im graduated in Economy
I sure hope you're an ESL.
Read this in my early 20s.
It stopped my "atheist" phase cold, and set me on a far more ethical path.
Dianetics is the only book in 5 years that I couldn't finish. Hell, I threw it out before page 50. It sucked that bad.
maybe you'll get another chance in a billion years or so.
>Leftist pessimism
Nah bro I don't give a shit about deliberately making myself depressed
awesome now read Michael Hudson
It's OK, when paired with right wing Anita capitalist hegemony, it makes more sense. Perhaps this is why he ACK'd
Anti* sorry for phone posting

>War was a part of the economy. Therefore, it was necessary to conceive a state of war for a stable economy.
>The government, the group theorized, would not exist without war, and nation states existed in order to wage war.
>War served the vital function of diverting collective aggression. They recommended "credible substitutes" and paying a "blood price"
>to emulate the economic functions of war. Prospective government-devised alternatives to war included reports of alien life-forms,
>the reintroduction of a "euphemized form" of slavery "consistent with modern technology and political processes",
>and - one deemed particularly promising in gaining the attention of the malleable masses - the threat of "gross pollution of the environment".
