Why? Their works are mostly descriptive, not normative; they are talking about how the world already is.

They talk about the way the world is so they can tell you how to pointlessly deconstruct and subvert it to destroy the pillars civilization is built upon

if the pillars of your civilization can be destroyed by a couple of french weirdos then your civilization is not worth defending anyways

As bad as things could've been back in the past centuries there was never this level of deconstructionist cope for hedonism

Do you really think 'certain cultural values enable nation-building' (questionable claim in its own right) at all implies that those values carry some kind of inherent superiority? Do you really, actually believe that?

The pillars of civilization are that fragile though. If they were invincible, civilizations wouldn't collapse. The fact that they're fragile is why it's so important to do everything in our power to maintain and reinforce them.
Artists are supposed to guide the population and the culture in that regard. Set an ideal for people to reach for and make them believe in a better world.
Instead our artists have chosen the side of evil. They saw the pillars of civilizations beginning to crack and broke out the chisels to speed it up, just so they could make a profit selling the pieces.

Baudrillard can stay though right? Of all the french gay pedophiles, he seems like the one best able to help diagnose and interpret our reality. He generally falls outside the others and their maniacal aims to (Sartre, Foucault Lacan(?)) deconstruct/destroy/ideologize until we can flip-flop the world order through mass human suffering

Except they didn’t do that, even if they wanted to. Authentic culture remains because it is an expression of the blood. All that postmodernists destroyed was the corpse of the already fake liberal Christian culture

You are right and everyone who cares about Truth Beauty or Meaning eventually come to the same conclusion.
Postmodernism is for people who can't write a real book. Destroying is easy. Deconstructing is easy. Infinitely easier than creating. It has always been the path of least resistance for hacks who can't build anything of their own.
The mystery to me is how they tricked so many people into believing their bullshit is art.
