I’m convinced this has to be some sort of regional thing. I’m like 23, and a few years ago when I was studying for engineering, and like 70% of the class were car guys (seems to be the thing most other zoomers I know do as a hobby), but they had no real interest in computers outside of like CoD and game and shit. None of them had an issue working their way through things, even when dealing with CAD software or other obtuse shit like MS Project. They didn’t master it, but they could get it working.
As such, I think the education system wherever you are is just shit. Did you not have time in computer labs or something? From primary school onwards here you’re constantly prompted to use word processors, PowerPoints and other basic b***h office type software for assignments.
