This is one of the best books I have ever read. I had to stop several times, because I was simply overwhelmed by the sheer terror, the nightmarish reality of being black in America. It was difficult having to read these words while looking at my white hand holding the book. I couldn't help but reflect on the vast mountain of sin in my people's past. No one wants to be the bad guy, but it's impossible not to admit that white people have been the villains of history after viewing the cold, hard facts. I ended up prostrate on my floor after every reading session (I've read seven times so far) crying, begging, pleading for racism to end. And every time, I was forced to realize that it will never end as long as white people continue to exist.

    >Dies because he was dosed up on Fentynol
    >Deified because he died like a b***h

        >be treated unfair
it was a routine arrest. he had committed a crime. the cops used a standard procedure.
        it was far from unfair.

Shouldn't resist arrest, less likely to die.

            >Resist arrest
            >Have to be restrained

It's not even a case of play stupid games, win stupid prizes. If the police want to search you, and you resist, what do you think the logical next step is. Did him self no favours being a convicted felon, he knew the routine.

I'm not a burger but I think you shouldn't resist arrest if you don't want the coppers to use force. Like IDK I may be against the reasons why a couple cops may want to arrest me but the way this shit works is that the cops have authority and if they want to arrest you, you go with them. It's not that hard to understand.

            1. you don't have to kneel on somone's neck to restrain them. pretty sure that's not a technique they're taught to use
            2. cops misuse/abuse their power so much it's a running gag at this point, so complying isn't a surefire way to not get beaten to death either.

I agree the knee is supposed to be at the top of the back, not the neck.
