I’m trying this shit and I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes (so far) to access some shitty Reddit clone. Does anyone actually use this regularly to tell me if something’s wrong? Could be first time start up wait.
I had fun helping the owner ("acid" or something) fix issues after we got a spam bot and upgrade to a new version of the software
but at some point he went MIA and I lost interest as well
zeronet is kinda fricked from an architectural point of view but it doesn't work that bad for what it is.
Tried it when 8.ch@n moved onto there. It doesn’t impress me much. If everything’s permanently on there good luck getting dox info and CP off there. Also if you come across any illegal shit on that network it means you automatically become a distributor.
You’ll also need a shit ton of hard drive space if you plan on using it on a regular basis cause it fills up pretty quickly.
It’s a pretty cool new idea on paper that’s an alternative to Tor or I2P, but I don’t see a practical use to it. It’s more of a novelty really
IMO they're headed in the absolutely wrong direction in terms of product development. which is a bummer, because he is (they are) definitely talented people.
I have come to regard every single abstract way of describing software as most likely false or highly misleading, so this shit just reads like line-noise to me.
>websites using Bitcoin cryptography
What did they mean by this
Bitcoin public addresses as public domain, private key signatures to take control of the domain and modify seeding files

Nice try, CEO of Zeronet. I definitely won't participate in funding your new yacht and cocaine orgies with luxury prostitutes.
>he doesn't know
the actual address of the ZN site is cut off in this image but I cant be bothered to dig up the original
isn't it dead?
yes
There are like two legitimate forks but yea pretty much dead

Maybe your NAT is blocking connections? Last time I used this piece of shit ZeroTalk loaded pretty fast since it's the most used site.
this was fun for like a single second after 8ch*n went down, until everyone realized its p2p and you're basically storing cp on your PC

Acid runs 8ch dot moe nowadays, a more conventional imageboard with board creation running Lynxchan.
Isn't this the thing that downloaded cp onto anons computers after 7+1chan went down, and showed their ip addresses to a bunch of journos

imo it needs improvement but def is more scalable than the actual internet
i talked one of the devs a couple years back.

what do you mean ?
It's a pos. it doesn't work properly and drops peers constantly. i2p is better
not comparable. you don't need a server to host zn sites, it's fully p2p while in i2p only the routing is p2p and the hosting is centralized.

Yea, enjoy downloading CP locally just by looking at it.
