Somehow it's still the only mail client on Windows that "works" with multiple email accounts.
I've actually switched to using my frickin android phone to deal with most emails nowadays because the FairEmail android app giga mogs thunderbird.
it sucks that mail clients are stuck in 2009
web clients are miserable
microsoft mitms your inbox to fetch everything
they can do that since you gave them the credentials when logging in via outlook
a protonmail account in outlook is no more private than an outlook account
>This has got to be the WORST mail client I've ever used.
Glowies hate it. Even a 5 year old can click-click easy PGP encrypt their emails. Don't believe me? Fetch me a 5 year old. Mobile version will be this easy soon.
Using thunderbird on mobile is literally fricking moronic.
On desktop it makes sense because its literally the only relevant and maintained client that isnt outlook.
But on mobile?!
I refuse to believe that anyone other than a masochist or a diehard mozilla troon would use thunderbird on mobile. There are countless email apps on mobile that all work perfectly.
>I refuse to believe
Your body, your choice. There is great demand for it so people can PGP email each other on desktop or phone with nearly zero effort.
and it's gotten worse with the new UI. Looking to swap to something else long term that doesn't just frick with the UI for no fricking reason.

Why would anyone need multiple accounts? Just get firstname.lastname.ssnr@ and use it for everything. Don't forget to attach your profile pic.
then why do I have 5 different accounts including protonmail on Outlook? and why does it "just work"?

Yeah, what's the best then?
That's the problem, they're all shit. And don't say Outlook.
evolution
elaborate
Gmail just werks
>no multiple email accounts at the same time
>less UI and functions
Thanks for the heads up but I'm sticking with it.
what else lets you export 100s of attachments easily? thunderbird doesn't do it, but a popular extension does, so I have to use it.

The Android version of Thunderbird will be one of those "countless email apps on mobile that all work perfectly."
(It's K-9 Mail)

You haven't used OWA. Even basic web mail beats that shit.
Himalaya shits all over whatever else ITT
I would never trust a French app.
works on my machine
Thunderbird, Evolution and Geary are your only options. It is unbeliavable mail interfaces are more on the shitty side.
> made by mozilla (Google front end)
> made by Gnome
> based on GTK
ok so any good options ?
There aren't, these options are the least shit. Or using the web browser. Mail is shit.
I just realised that I've never used another mail client. what other options are out there ?
why would anyone use anything but claws or mutt is beyond me
does it one click PGP encrypt emails?
yes, you only need to click send if encrypt/sign is the default
Bloatware
What's wrong with it? What even are your requirements for a mail client?
Mutt
Mailspring seems alright. Bluemail too, but its closed source
it does what I need it to
