recently started using i3 because i was curious and i kind of like it. but i'm not used to it yet.
sometimes when an application opens some kind if pop up window (e.g. new mail in thunderbird) things get kinda messy. is there a good way to handle this? except for manually adding these windows to the config as floating
i3 in tabs mode is nice! I basically use the workspaces as alt+tab and keep a couple windows stacked based o the thing I'm doing.
Tried dwm, didn't like that window modes were global and am too moronic to patch it in
>round corners

Happens on hyprland too, browser popups usually become huge windows for a second, move everything on my screen and the dissappear.
>is there any way to fix this other than the fix?
I guess I'm autistic because I'll never understand this train of thought.

Yeah he already knows about that fix. What he's saying is, he wants a fix that's different than that. Blows my mind.
Been using i3 since 2015.
