I underwent a TMS treatment to treat both depression and anxiety, and I am astonished by the results. I am in a good mood 90% of the time now, my anxiety is gone, and I have finally gotten rid of my chronic fatigue. I have the energy, motivation, and cognitive ability to excel in my studies and in my research work, things which I never had before. I want to take another IQ test, because I swear I am smarter now than I was before as well. I feel like I can finally do all the things I have wanted to in my life now. There have to be more applications of this technology to enhance the human brain, right? What other areas can be targeted for upregulation/downregulation, and for what effects?

I was recommended having that but I haven't done it yet. I did have something similar done on my jaw for bruxism with a TENS machine that kind of zaps your head every few seconds. It was really annoying though, I wanted to punch the dentist in the face after just a few minutes of it
I'm not sure if those machines are similar. The TMS treatments feel like being flicked in the head a bunch for 20 minutes. Annoying, but you get used to it and don't even pay attention to it after a few sessions. The results have been more than worth it for me. If you think you could benefit from it, and your insurance covers it, I would recommend doing it. It does take nine weeks for the total treatments though, so be ready for that.
lol this doesn't do shit
it's just like a priest performing a ritual to bless you
functionally useless but you feel a lot better
and feeling better alone is worth the ritual
you could've just skipped the bullshit and went straight to the source
God wants you to believe in Him, and He'll give you anything you want.
Thank you Jesus.
You basically got a massage ritual that made you feel more relaxed lol
take your bluepill
>Activities linked to IQ increase
Doing difficult math and logic problems (e.g. Springer Graduate Texts)
Orbitofrontal D1-D2 stimulation (apparently very potent)
Learning a new language (the more it differs from your mother tongue, the better)
Nucleus Basalis stimulation
Learn to play an instrument
Some (!) meditation techniques
Neurofeedback training (specifically Dual-N-Back)
Intermittent fasting
transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS)
some memory activities/games
Continued education
lucid dreaming
some binaural beats
TMS has literally been shown to consistently decrease cognitive function. You're so fricking moronic, OP

literally the fricking opposite mate
State propaganda. The internet is full of horror stories about TMS, it leaves people crippled. I believe these first hand accounts more that some Robert Maxwell's basedence dissemination pamphlet
You are a terminally online loser. You can find horror stories for everything online, and 9/10 they are grossly exaggerated or fake.
>You can find horror stories for everything online, and 9/10 they are grossly exaggerated or fake.
I believe them. The state propaganda apparatus would never publish anything against itself and theres plenty of reports about it. Nature has openly rejected any articles that oppose ideas held by government officials
Normally, I'd agree with a post like yours, but we left normality behind long ago. I think I might have to side with

what the hell meditation is making people smarter
> a list of reddit level memes
> doesn't even mention the only ONE (1) thing that was proven to slow cognitive decline
The fricking state of this place
homie got himself an electric lobotomy lmao
But he feels better. That's how people measure their own intelligence.
Ah yes, how could I ever forget?
Israel, being a technologically advanced country, helps move progress forward. What's the problem?
Do you have results of previous IQ tests? Otherwise you'll know if you're smarter or so dumb that you think you're smarter
I don't give a shit about depression I want something that destroys anxiety. The anxious part of my brain has been screwed since I was born, my genetics are garbage I need a fix. I would be unstoppable without anxiety, a complete animal, a bvll
TMS can treat anxiety as well. They target a different brain region for it.
Very interesting thread, been thinking about doing this myself
Bumping for later
It literally gave you brain damage, euphoria is a symptom of brain damage. Let me tell you a story OP, my brain was liquefied as a baby, I'm 99% sure I don't even have a brain anymore, I'm basically just an angry dust devil that developed consciousness and is screaming at you, like this guy https://www.cbc.ca/radio/asithappens/as-it-happens-thursday-edition-1.3679117/scientists-research-man-missing-90-of-his-brain-who-leads-a-normal-life-1.3679125
but more extreme.
Can't even get high on powerful drugs since I actually have a soul and am not an NPC.
>TMS Induced Cognitive Enhancements
how much can I expect to pay for this without insurance? Looks like the local therapy place that offers it does 4-6 wks of 30 min sessions daily
Very expensive without insurance. If you are poor or unemployed get on Medicaid. They cover it.
>I am in a good mood 90% of the time now, my anxiety is gone
I just jerk offd to the thought of a cute girl murdering me. You think TMS might help me?
