    >islamic empires
The north africans/berbers became muslim themselves, this doesnt mean anything at all
    >affect the racial demographics
    Nothing
They basically the same as the ancient lybics
You could maybe talk about the SSA slave trade that added like some 5 % more SSA to maghrebis

Irrelevant. Arabia wasn't some mega population center like China and India, there literally wouldn't have been enough Arabs in the world to "mutt" these regions, like so many /misc/acks think.
The idea that conquered by Arabs = become genetically Arab is as moronic and asine as thinking that Nigeria or Kenya are now half-British because the Brits ruled them for enough time to change their language

People always have this weird thing about ME and Africa. My best friend is a pure Albanian but culturally his family has been allover MENA for generations. His Arabic

I always have the feeling that the early arab caliphates and states: umayyads, abbasids, Aghlabids, fatimids and to a smaller extent the Idrisids whpied out a big portion of the berber population either by killing or enslaving them. Then al mustansir had this crazy idea of sending an arabian horde(about one million)to Tunisia and Algeria then almohads came and they themselves claimed to be arab and settled arabs in morocco.

      >whpied out a big portion of the berber population either by killing or enslaving them.
      You sure about that?

        Near nothing.

        >the Idrisids whpied out a big portion of the berber population either by killing or enslaving them.
This didn't happen though. There was no mass genocide of the region which would account for any major difference in democgraphics.

I'm not sure about the Idrisids but the others really seem to have whiped out a lot of berbers, I read that musa ibn nusyar once took 80 thousand berber women as slaves and hanzala bin safwan killed 180 thousand berbers in one battle, I know these numbers seem to be exaggerated, but I was really surprised to know that berber women were the main slaves in the umayyad era, abdulrahman had a berber mother, abu jafar almansur had a berber mother and I was very surprised to know that like third of half shia imams had berber mother, and also the fact berber states having arabic as their official language and larpping as arabs proves a lot.

Maghrebis are still 95 % berber apart from maybe some tunisians

95%? Even by the time of the creation of the Algerian state There were villages that speak beber wich means bears aren't 95% of the population

I see some arabists that use genetic statistics to their own good, and berberoids do the same thing, so I don't care much about genetics, if arabs were only 5% of north Africa then north Africans won't speak Arabic, it's simple

It's funny because the French in Algeria tried to convince the Berbers to submit to the French system as an "alternative" to the Arab and they were like

Complete. Muslim Arab conquerors with 10 inch wieners raped all the Christian White Roman women and the mulatto Nafris of today were created. North Africa was white before the Muslamic conquests.

Mulattos aren't mostly Sub-Saharan or Sahelian, either. Just like Nafri mulattos.

Mulattos/Mestico is a term that only has relevance or context in LatAm or Portuguese/Spanish Africa.

          >Just like Nafri mulattos.
Mullato means in common parlance White (usually Iberian ancestry) and black (usually West/central African ancestry).

When Amr ibn al-As conquered Tripoli in 643, he forced the israeli and Christian Berbers to give their wives and children as slaves to the Arab army as part of their jizya.[150][151]

Uqba ibn Nafi would often enslave for himself (and to sell to others) countless Berber girls, "the likes of which no one in the world had ever seen."[152]

The Muslim historian Ibn Abd al-Hakam recounts that the Arab General Hassan ibn al-Nu'man would often abduct "young, female Berber slaves of unparalled beauty, some of which were worth a thousand dinars." Al-Hakam confirms that up to 150,000 slaves were captured by Musa ibn Nusayr and his son and nephew during the conquest of North Africa. In Tangier, Musa ibn Nusayr enslaved all of the Berber inhabitants. Musa sacked a fortress near Kairouan and took with him all the children as slaves.[153] The number of Berbers enslaved "amounted to a number never before heard of in any of the countries subject to the rule of Islam" up to that time.

Arabicized. It wasn't a forced process but it still left some negative consequences like the abandonment of local culture and writing system, homogenization of local population (fostered by the umma concept that frowned on outliers) that ironically gave rise to asabiyya/xenophobia movement as local population were displaced due to greater mobility of people (even though they all speak arab at this point) as well as brain drain as smart people f off to either Baghdad, Alexandra or Cordoba.

It's like 21st century america. third gen asian/italian/irish/insert_ethnic_minority_here could barely speak their native tongue, black people didn't even know which part of Africa they belonged to and everyone is obsessed with their superficial differences when they are all the same kind of feces inside

    65% native north African
    20% Arab
    10% Euro
    5% sub saharan
What exactly is "native north african" you may ask? It's essentially a 70,000 year old sub saharan component

You're probably sitting back, wondering what my post

        That's not how it works.

means. The truth is you don't know jack shit about genetics. Take for example the snp rs1800401:

Looks like it's shared by Africans, Europeans and south Asians, right? WRONG. The *surrounding* haplotypes are different between groups.

This gene is in linkage disequilibrium with the African version of the gene.
This gene is in linkage with the non-African version of the gene.

So what I mean by 70.000 year old African component, I mean that they share some SNPs also found in Africans, but the surrounding genetic variation is different.

The ancient Egyptians were the indigenous people of the Nile Valley in North Africa. They developed one of the most iconic civilizations in history, with their culture flourishing along the banks of the Nile River for thousands of years. The ancient Egyptian civilization predates the Arab-Muslim conquest of Egypt in the 7th century CE.

The ancient Egyptians had their own distinct language (Ancient Egyptian), writing system (hieroglyphics), religion, and cultural practices. They built monumental structures such as the pyramids, temples, and tombs, and their civilization left a lasting legacy in art, architecture, science, and religion.

While modern Egyptians are a diverse population with various ancestries due to historical migrations and interactions, the ancient Egyptians themselves were North Africans, not Arabs. The Arab-Muslim conquest of Egypt in the 7th century CE introduced Arab culture, language (Arabic), and Islamic religion to the region, influencing the cultural and linguistic landscape of Egypt. However, the indigenous population of ancient Egypt was not Arab but rather North African in origin.
