Eurofrick here,
Gonna be done with school in 1 year.
Should I focus on going to university for CS in Europe or is it just a bragging right?
I'm more than competent with learing everything on my own, plus I genuinely find enjoyment in it, but I feel like shit's so fricked that noone cares about what you actually know and can show for youself, instead they care about what certifications you can show them.
Can you people who've been working CS for good time + are actually passionate about it, give me some clairvoyance?
CS is a useless degree in 2022+2, no matter wether its in Europe or muttmerica
>Eurofrick
if you live in a country where tuition is free, then why not?
you should go to uni for the networking opportunities if anything. look for jobs while you're studying and drop out if you get hired at a good company.
how fricking underage are you
Based off his self-dox, 16-17
he'd be 17-18, you're voting age by the time you finish uhh high school equivalent
Imagine caring about at what age frickers post on IQfy
Btw most people finish school that isnt Uni at around age 19-21
Post real responses, not some brainless larp trash
Stop with the cope you 16 year old.
>Btw most people finish school that isnt Uni at around age 19-21
What country even in congo that is that bad, I know cause my mother lived in Kinshasa.
Just stop larping you are unerage. Just take the l and ask reddit.
If you arent familiar with how things are in most countries in EU, why even talk
I live in europe mate.
>moron comes from some african shack down by the river shithole then larp here as european.
Just becuse your countryman are only capable of livining on wellfare doing nothing, doesnt mean every other european do so. In many EU countries If you are born before june, you finish your education being 19 years old.
>t. pedo
I don't want to talk to kids or listen to a kid's opinions
Being 18 isn't uncommon in the last year of HS on Europe.
It is, it really is unless you are giga stupid. Like godzilla low iq. And if that was the case you wouldn't be larping as being competent on a basketweaving fourm
You don't know shit.
In the Netherlands you start school at 4 years old. Primary school is 8 years. High school is 6 years for VWO (highest level). That lands you at 18. If you have to redo one year (not uncommon in the 5th year of high school), that lands you at 19. So please shut the frick and do your due diligence.
People finish HS around 18-21. People finish University if all goes well at 25.
enjoy your ban homosexual
Reported also you have an absolute bottom of the barrel horenus take in comics, frick merryweather. I swer Black person can't write, his comics are absolute ass and he drops them like mad and this supporters are all 12 year olds.
Getter better taste bro
>I feel like shit's so fricked that noone cares about what you actually know and can show for youself, instead they care about what certifications you can show them.
No, you absolute moron. Nobody gives a frick about your certs if you got no experience. Get a fricking IT job while you're still young, homosexual. Then you can either build up experience and climbe the corporate dick ladder, or say frick this and go to university in a couple of years time. For frick's sake, don't "self learn" shit without being in employment or doing a degree, you'll be unemployable like the rest of us.
>Gonna be done with school in 1 year.
Good morning sir welcome to the infamous hacker knows as IQfyDotOrg sir did u know u need to be in the needful 18 years at least to redeem ur post sir??
people without degrees are the first to be fired when companies start doing layoffs, and they're only hired during tech bubbles.
if you're an entrepreneur type, this might not be that big of a hurdle though.
>I'm more than competent with learing everything on my own, plus I genuinely find enjoyment in it
good news! in uni you will in fact learn mostly on your own.
uni courses mostly guide you on what books and chapters to read and then leave you to figure it out on your own or bug your teachers, with some (usually non-mandatory attendace) seminars scattered throughout.
don't be a fool, stay in school!
If you can get a job straight from high school do it, but you most likely can't and will need a degree to be taken seriously
>Eurofrick here
Didn't read further.
Degrees are pretty useful, I struggle much less than my friends who have no degree. It's also free (paid from taxes) and my CS degree was pretty fun.
