Don't care, didn't ask. You either use VSCode or you're a fizzbuzzer NEET.
I use both. got a problem with that, Rajeesh?
>t. dunning-kruger intern
tooling is mostly personal pref with LSP
Don't care, didn't ask. You either use VSCodium or you're a fizzbuzzer pajeet.
Sorry but a web browser is not a text editor you homosexual homosexuals.
>Program that writes text isn't a program that writes text
have a nice day
(vimscript9) An increase in execution speed of 10 to 100 times can be expected.
this gave me pause as well. i wonder what plugins will be impacted.
for example, YouCompleteMe is technically accessed through the vimscript bindings, right? will this shorten the response time from the autocomplete server?
from what the article says, it sees that while backwards compatibility will be preserved, plugin authors will have to rewrite their scripts utilizing new features in order for these speedups to occur
>he fell for the troony editor
vim9 script looks promising
I wonder what that drill kid's up to nowadays.
why do people use vim or emacs over VSCode at this point ?
less bloat
elisp is also superior to whatever shit vs-kode uses
Eh not really, some people have like 100 plug-ins for neovim, that is bloat too.
>that is bloat too.
not really though. if a user installs a plugin because he wants that feature, then it's not bloat. if a text editor needs an entire web browser to run because that makes it easier for the developers at the expense of the user, that's bloat and gay
>lumping emacs with vim
Don't care, what's needed in vim that the stock vim8 doesn't have?
does it have lsp yet
Is this how you hold a power drill?
Yes
