The Americans fatsos are jealous of our literary superiority.

Must be sad living next door to two obviously superior countries, Germany and England. The only way the French survive is the sheer strength of their delusion as to the worth of their linguistic refinement and flexibility. If they saw how worthless those two features really were they'd probably nuke themselves since it's not like they could ever change their nature to truly feel within themselves the pious feeling and truthfulness of the Germanic countries.

Yes. They are overshadowed by Hegel, Kant, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Marx. Schiller is irrelevant to everyone but Germans. Goethe is a fossil.

Download the textbook French for Reading
Once you finish those you should then grind Harry Potter
After about the 4th or 5th book you can then grind Georges Simenon

This is pretty solid advice because you want to start with something familiar and easy. In fact, the french translation of Harry Potter is so different from the original that I'd consider it better just by that virtue.

I didn't notice any differences outside of some bits in the first book
Granted, I didn't check the original text constantly, only in the first book but the changes seemed to mostly be for localisation

this but don't waste your time with Harry Potter or Simenon, there are better books with simple prose

There seems to me a strange back-and-forth in the French mind between Revolution and Catholicism. Tell us about that.

Culture created from artificial and mechanical top-down oppression and enforcement, the result can only be the continuation of this artificial firm hand or, when that is temporarily retracted, the bloodthirstiness of revolution without the slightest sense of natural morality and self-guidance. Modern France has somewhat merged the two, since it's exhausted its bloodthirstiness, and the oh so strict requirements need only be as soft as modern Catholicism and indulgent bourgeois society. Whichever the contemporary Frenchman chooses to be moulded by, he is equally frivolous at heart. A people without any true morality, religion or culture, an empty shell of perverts.

It really is. Throughout most of human history, men could never be absolutely certain that the child is really theirs. Then, very recently a wonderful technology is developed which makes this knowledge possible. Which makes possible a new type of real knowledge. And in response to this, the class of women and a particular government work together to suppress knowledge. Knowledge that people have a moral right to obtain, and which, for that reason, they ought to have a legal right to obtain. And a cabal of women and government collude with each other to dissimulate, and call that moral when the truth is the reverse.

In America, you can provably not be the father and still have to pay child support and boomer simp shits like Quintus Curtius who's a practicing lawyer will say that's a good thing.
