Umm sweaty it sounds like you’re like, reactionary and stuff?
Ever considered reading books that don’t reinforce your preexisting beliefs about the decline of western civilization like Pinker’s Enlightenment Now and The Better Angelsof Our Nature?

What defines a decline? The West is still very rich and powerful and the people live well for the most part? Is this just b***hing about muh religion or muh gays? The author should know that nothing stays the same forever and things will change and only those stupid or cowardly enough to isolate themselves become true victims of cultural destruction. And let me guess this is a European author.

Amaury de Riencourt's books, The Soul of India, China, and The Coming Caesars

Ortega y Gasset's books are of a similar vein even though they are not cultural history, but philosophy of history. I recommend Man and Crisis, History as a System, and of course The Revolt of the Masses
