Science properlly started in places such as Egypt, Persia and Greece before christianity even existed. When it cale to power, christianity actively hindered its development until it started losing its influence during the Renaisance which is pretty much a cultural return to those antique civilizations where savants and thinkers were (mostly) free to express their opnions, research, experiment and formulate new ideas without fear of death by barbaric torture devices.

Let's not forget Islam when Iran launches it's attack on Israel this weekend. How will the Atheist world respond to WW3? Just sit it out?
