Is there a reason why brave cant do webms for more than 4 minutes now? I cant use /gif/ or /wsg/ its like it panics or the website panics. Suddenly I have to clear history/cache everytime I want to see a webm. Also the save function sucks, its like slow motion for some reason waiting for the "save as" to pop-up oh and the bar for "downloaded" is gigantic. Its not as bad as Linux, but it is suddenly buggy.

    Brave on desktop
Bromite on mobile, might switch to Brave there too.
I don't use the crypto shit, it requires KYC.

Same, I like Brave on desktop because it's the only decent Chromium build for Ubuntu/Debian (after cryptomeme is disabled), but I use Bromite on mobile because I can easily download the APK since I don't have a Goolag account for Play. For Windows (work computer), I use Edge since it's surprisingly nice for a Microshit product.

Yeah it's kind of pointless. I use it then just dump it all on sites that are at least somewhat not shit.

This is not a hard preference question anymore.

If you use mozilla services bookmark sync etc you’ll use ff. If you like google’s ecosystem of software and services you’ll use chrome/chromium based browser. If you are an applegay safari is the best choice.

It’s not about just software anon. Grow up nobody cares about software. If you like their ecosystem, you’ll use that.

/thread. Please don’t make these old school threads. The software and desktop computing is perfected ever since 2009. Don’t be an autist and stop caring about just software

I only ever use Brave. It blocks ads, trackers and even gives me kickbacks when I view privacy-friendly ads! Thank you Mr Eich!

If you installed the Flatpak it might be something with the directories allowed.

Firefox is the absolute best feature-wise but i recently went back to chrome/chromium since im fed up with their incompetence. My real hope is that a fourth competitor shows up besides Chromium, Firefox and Gtk.
