What did you guys think about this book?

when the guy turns intelligent he instantly starts caring about philosophy, the classics, debates about kant or whatever even though he has no background at it whatsoever, thereby implying that an increase in intelligence is somehow inherently associated with attachment to the germanic canon. it is complete self serving garbage and a failure to see it as such disqualifies every effort you could possibly make in genuinely understanding any type of writing.
