Whats the point in having a good computer with linux if I cant play anything on vr without dumping 1k into a steam headset? I already dumped money to upgrade my 12yo cpu and motherboard to find win7 doesnt work, I dont wanna dump 1k into a steam headset, this technology is stupid I want my 12yo cpu back

Yes, Linux is by far the most n00b friendly OS, that's why I use it. No 50.000 menu's and settings everywhere, just install, apt update, apt upgrade and forget about it. Peak comfy.

for everything else like gaming (relatively rarely these days) there's either a cloud windows machine on my paperspace, my quest 2, or a qemu windows VM.
