They forget the fact that just like Christians they are people and just as prone to cognitive biases and logical fallacies that everyone is.

It's in its early stages, and has experienced its first breakdown. After this, it will reorient itself, and latch onto something to turn itself into an actual religion, probably built around science and skepticism, with a few rituals to remind themselves of the need for it. What this will look like is anyone's guess

They never actually opposed religion, they opposed white male Christian conservatives. That's why New Atheism became Atheism Plus, which is now the current woke/SJW stuff

They won. Christianity is dying in first world countries and the bashing of shit like young earth creationism is so mainstream that it isn't even edgy anymore. They shilled an unpopular message while being buttholes about it so hard that they somehow managed to make people accept the message as long as you aren't acting like a douchebag while presenting it.
All the ire that used to be targeted at atheism in the abstract got transmuted into a caricature in a funny hat.

New atheism was never about shitholes like the Philippines or Iran, it was a first worlder (and more specifically anglo) movement.

In the US it turned into the "Satanist" movement, as far as protesting religion goes.

Criticized Islam and was cancelled. Won't recover as society continues getting worse and compelling people into religion when material goods fail them.

New Atheism, a movement characterized by its outspoken critique of religion and promotion of scientific skepticism, gained prominence in the mid-2000s through authors like Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens, and Daniel Dennett. However, by the early 2010s, the movement began to lose momentum. Several factors contributed to its decline:

Internal Criticism: Some critics argued that New Atheism lacked nuance and often engaged in polemics rather than constructive dialogue.

Response to Criticism: New Atheist figures faced backlash for their perceived intolerance and hostility toward religious beliefs, which may have alienated potential supporters.

Shift in Focus: Over time, public discourse shifted toward other social and political issues, diverting attention away from New Atheist themes.

Changing Cultural Landscape: As societal attitudes toward religion evolved, the urgency of New Atheist messaging diminished for many people.

While New Atheism as a distinct movement has waned, its influence on discussions about religion, science, and secularism continues to be felt in various spheres.

I know at least 10 people who take christianity seriously in los angeles. They are all brown hispanics and four of them have successfully fricked a Hispanic femoid that birthed their biological offspring. This is america's future. its over.

There's literally no indication whatsoever of the spiritual belief of those two gays. Trannies are already infiltrating the Church because as it turns out, Christianity doesn't actually have any concrete standards and is constantly revising itself to adapt to the society it serves.

    Read Conquest's Laws of politics.
    >Everyone is conservative about what he knows best.
    >Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left-wing.
    >The simplest way to explain the behaviour of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies.

They fell victim to the forces described in the second law, and were rapidly subverted into just another mouthpiece for the approved agitprop.

Much like boomers in general, it didn't realize that conservative religious tradition was the fuel that liberalism needed to burn through to maintain itself.

It didn't go anywhere: as long as there will be people who question and oppose every form of superstition and magical thinking, every form of infantilization of the mind of the masses through glorified fairy tales for adults, new atheism will continue to exist and strive.
