What is a good controller for pc, if I want multiple people on one box?
I've read there are random issues with controllers on one pc, but the reviews of current things seem to all be solo playerswith no physical friends.
I dont exactly feel like shelling out over 20000 ISK to get 4 xbox controllers, particuarlly as the design seems lacking

Xbox 360 controller
like 10-20 bucks and works well
>Actually recommending a controller.
Chuda, chuda.
Unless they find an unopened one, whatever they get will probably have worn down thumbsticks and squeaky triggers. Xbox Core controller is better in every possible way.
I was lucky to find a used 360 controller that didn't have worn sticks in a bin full of them at a local game shot I was at. I only use it for my 360 and I have an Xbox Elite 2 controller for my PC
Xbox Elite controllers look pretty slick, but the lack of a AA battery compartment ruins it for me. In 10 years or less, you'll have to resort to buying 3rd party clones of the proprietary batteries from chinese companies in order to keep your controller running. Meanwhile, I'll just buy a new set of rechargeable AA batteries for my Xbox Core controller once the current ones have reached their charge cycle limit.
I am with you in theory but I never had a controller that would last more than 3-4 years. Something would wear out way before the battery gave in.
I never use it wirelessly so I don't have to worry about battery life. The elite controller doesn't work very well via bluetooth so it's just better to have it plugged in. No complaints if you're just playing at your desk
>The elite controller doesn't work very well via bluetooth so it's just better to have it plugged in
You sure it's not just your bluetooth receiver? I remember awhile back I didn't realize that my WiFi and bluetooth were both handled by the same piece of hardware and I didn't have the WiFi antenna plugged in because I use ethernet. Turns out that WiFi antenna needs to be there for my bluetooth to not be shit. Probably obvious to some, but it wasn't to me. Also, some bluetooth receivers are trash.
Xbox controller with Bluetooth? Why would anyone do that, I thought they all came with their own 2.4ghz connection.
Wouldn't 2.4Ghz be prone to interference from things like WiFi routers and microwaves?
Do you keep your microwave right next to your computer and leave it running 24/7?
You don't? How do you cook hotpockets and stuff when you game?
I don't think so, I thought it was pretty common for all low latency wireless devices to use their own 2.4 ghz connectors instead of Bluetooth.
Finding a legit Microsoft Xbox 360 controller is hard

What the frick is the directinput thing about
So much fake shit gets sold on Amazon. I remember getting a fake Corsair K70 keyboard that shipped to me from an Amazon warehouse. Then Corsair refused to service it and Amazon support kept giving me the runaround and saying one of their "specialists" would contact me (they never did, even after I contacted them more than 10 times about the same issue)
What are you playing? I don't think most beta testers look into whether multiplayer LAN works properly if they're all on the same PC, it's assumed that they're each on their own PC
Emu shit
Sis ran off with the gamecube controllers to NYC
Kind of hard to get them back for 3-8 years depending on how much she defiles herself
I want to play more Metroid Prime 2 local MP
>Metroid Prime 2
Keyboard and mouse.
>Sis ran off to NYC
My condolences for your loss. I lost a sister to NYC, too. They sent back a vapid creature that takes pictures of literal roadside garbage and calls it "art."

Is good ngl. But mines shoulder button practically gave up after some rigorous DS3 boss fights so I can't recommend it for SERIOUS GAYMERS.
Third party Switch Pro controllers are $20 USD, which is ~75% cheaper than an Xbox controller for all the same buttons.
I personally use an Nyko Pro controller.
I use a PS4 controller.
Been using my SN30 Pro+ since early 2020 and it's pretty good honestly, like it more than my xbone one and the DS4
>particuarlly as the design seems lacking
theyre not fricking fashion statements you sperg
your hand is going to cover up most of the controller anyway
