What is Dostoevsky's best work? Why? For me, it's Crime and Punishment because it's his most human book.

Where do the Swedes discuss their Swedish literature anyway? The only dedicated literature fora I can find are in Italian, French, and German!

The Swedish general is surprisingly high quality for being an IQfy general.
They usually discuss specific books every other week, but interest has been a little low recently. Though the greats (such as August Strindberg and Johan Hedberg) get discussed on a regular basis no matter the week.

is absolutely delusional. the swedish thread is nothing but nazis, an extreme amount of incels, 2 particular idiots larping an in love gay anime romance and some guy endlessly schizo posting a swedish food youtuber and managed to single handedly bann an entire popular swedish internet provider from IQfy. fricking bananas on there and there is not a single mention of literature there aside from maybe mein kampf.

crime and punishment is his most approachable work and most comprehensive alongside with being a sort of thriller which any modern normie with a half baked brain can appreciate. but too me it isn't his most deep work. i dont mean to insinuate that it it makes you less smart for having it as a favorite. i just feel that most his other major works offer what crime and punishment does and so much more. it is a shame to read crime and punishment and call it a day with dostoy. demons, the idiot, a nasty story and in particular notes from underground are all so jampacked with human insight that it is sad they dont get brought up as much as crime and punishment, tho as said I understand why it is so.
