    Lua is a joke. It's supposed to be Python but faster, instead it feels like a parody of python.

      Lua is supposed to be used for writing extensions to larger, actually useful programs, and to that extent it's apparently super easy to embed.
      I don't think anyone actually claims that it's a good language besides lazy homosexual developers and pretentious game engine devs still in their first month
